Artist in Residence – Atelier Blanchefosse
In 2017 I went to France together with Marloes Meijburg. It started when we talked about getting back into nature again and about how we love to have some time and space to focus on our work. We found an artist in residence called ‘Atelier Blanchefosse’. It’s located in a beautiful place in the Ardennes.
My plan was to try out new pigments that I had bought recently. I brought a lot of paper with me and I started to experiment on it.
Aside from experimenting we had some pleasant walks. During these trips we found three different colors of clay and some orange stones. I turned them into beautiful earth pigments. [ If you want to know how, click here ]
